Pros
Working for our company we get to go out and volunteer in our communities and give back to those in need. It is so rewarding knowing we are making a difference. We have great benefits with a family owned environment. We matter to our company. They make it very easy to be heard and really try to take our ideas and create solutions to better our company. Growing within the company and advancing from within is something I have done and the opportunity is definitely there! Our company invests in their employees, we now have an Employee Profit Sharing Pay out every year that is a great addition to our pay. We are rewarded for staying with the company.
Cons
Honestly there are not many downsides to working for our company. Pay is great, benefits are top notch, people are great, opportunities are there, and our work environment is amazing.
We love to hear this about our new profit sharing program! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with TCC -your tenure with this company is amazing. We are so lucky to have passionate and committed leaders like you on our team.

Pros
Culture of good was a great thing to be a part of. Loved the TCC culture and great pay (in the past)
Cons
Unfortunately the culture part is ruined when they hired a former corporate Verizon store manager that told us he didn't care about basically everything that made TCC awesome. Absolute robot of a person with absolutely 0 leadership skills. Any store you were at would go from a happy fun and interesting work environment to having it all drained the second he entered your store. He led by fear and that was it. It was do it exactly like I say or your fired but I'm also not going to explain what I want and constantly change it. Then there is all the pay change. 2 or 3 times a year they'll change the pay model and take earning opportunities away from the employees and managers each time while adding more to the workload. With this particular market manager you were expected to always be available for work even when you were on vacation or just not working that day. He'd email in the middle of the night well after 10 pm that there's a meeting early before 8 am and if you miss it you're fired. He seems to have a plan of firing everyone that was there before him and hire old employees of his which usually were fired from corporate for fraud and other bad things.

Customer doesn't matter

The commission percentage is pretty good if you work at a high traffic location.
Cons
Horrible hourly pay. Customers money is all that matters. Selfish and greedy employees and management. Taking care of the customer is no longer a required priority.

Amazing People Suffering From Retail Burnout
May 23, 2023 - Market Manager in Pacific, WARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Engaging, well paying , excellent benefits, culturally team focused, development and promotion opportunities.
Cons
When employee churn occurs, existing performers are overworked, and taken for granted to gain new employees, then punished for speaking up about their need for a more reliable schedule and to not be overlooked by new people who do not perform as well simply to keep bodies in the building.

Pros
The owners of this company are truly amazing, they encourage personal growth, they offer wonderful benefits and good pay! They love giving back to the community around them! They help local military members, children and teachers. The hours are truly good! My store wasn't open past 6/7.
Cons
Its a sales position, so the managers seem to encourage you to lie to the customers, and sneak things onto the bill...I saw my manager, on my first day, tell a customer that she was giving her a wireless charger for free, yet it showed up as $49.99 on the invoice...but the manager just didn't print the invoice for the customer and said it would be emailed. I was also encouraged to not help anyone who wasn't buying anything...if an old person came in needing help with technical problems I was told I was absolutely not allowed to do so. Even if we were dead!! (I still did) -from a sales perspective, when that person comes in to actually upgrade they'll want to work with me! They'll refer their friends and family to me as well. That goes a long way. Also, just be a good person and help the older folks with this technology that came up so quickly for them!

Pros
They really care about their customers. It’s not just about the every day sales, but the every day cares and investing into people. Into the community, into the organizations that the customers are passionate about or involved in. They care about the overall well-being of their sales associates, challenging and pressuring them into a glide path for success. There’s no limit if you wanna make six figures a year you can, but you have to put in the work if you want to grow with the company the management comes up with ways to get you there in a realistic manner.
Cons
I think we could do better on some of the technical troubleshooting. Often times customers will come in and will have to call in to Core, or tech-support for them to reset some thing, but we’re not ever explained how they do it. There’s a lot of pressure about converting and beating certain metrics That don’t always feel realistic but a lot of that is also what you put into it

Pros
Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving off.
Cons
Poor management, Unreasonable metrics, stagnant and degenerate culture, massive source of both at/out of work stress, unpaid weekly calls, forced to do duties not required by sales reps, abusive district manager, nepotism beyond any company I’ve ever seen, in fact, my manager has had romantic relations with his female employees. Abysmal pay if you work a low profit store, obscene turn over, lack of coverage, over worked, company refuses to hire part time workers, no chance for advancement through tenure alone, no store managers because they pay them a living wage if they aren’t selling and this company can’t have that. Basically if you don’t sell you don’t eat. Bonuses used to be lucrative but now they are beyond difficult to hit.

Pros
This position offers favorable work hours and standard employment benefits, including healthcare, vision, and a 401k retirement plan.
Cons
The upper and middle management of the stores exhibit unprofessional conduct. The responsibilities and duties expected of an individual for the compensation of $8 per hour are consistently exploited. There is a pressing need for a substantial increase in the hourly wage. Furthermore, the human resource department is inadequate and lacks autonomy, as it is beholden to the directives of the regional director.
