Love TCU. The community is great. People are positive and great to work with.

I have been working at TCU part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

TCU is a very people centered organization. They focus on building connection between students and faculty that drive career success.

    Cons

Most students tend to be upper class, although there is a full range of students from all economic classes. This can create certain cultural expectations in social groups.

    Advice to Management

While TCU HRL focuses heavily on resident quality of life, management in the main office could make a more visible effort to emphasize quality of student life for RAs as far as care and wellness.

I have been working at TCU part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The campus is lovely and the people are friendly. There are many opportunities for professional development.

    Cons

Perhaps full faculty and staff have a different experience, but I am an adjunct with little possibility to advancement and no benefits.

    Advice to Management

Colleges and Universities need to consider hiring more professors as full time faculty instead of relying on poorly paid adjuncts to cover most of the classes.
