I worked at TD full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people were good to work with for the most part and there was room for advancement if you were willing to relocate.

    Cons

It's essentially a glorified call centre and the job is boring.

    Advice to Management

Continue to promote from within and help employees move to other areas of the bank where there are more opportunities.

    Pros

Very good team, including branch management, you will really feel like the family vibe. great position for students or those that are starting their financial careers.

    Cons

As a Part-time you will receive next to no hours, at least not enough to support yourself. The pay is not up to industry standards, expect to get paid lower than what you may find online.

    Advice to Management

    increase pay and increase hours

    I worked at TD full-time

    Pros

Good benefits, pension, stock purchase plan.

    Cons

Micromanaging has gotten out of control. Goal setting and meeting has become it's own end game rather than customer service. I feel they've lost sight of what keeps customers coming back. Oh well, this fad too shall pass..

I have been working at TD full-time

    Pros

Regular Pay, can look forward to annual vacation

    Cons

Micromanaged to a ridiculous level. No input from below and do not dare to ask for more detail about initiatives and programs. If you do you will be identified as a malcontent and potential disturbance to the "force" and also one who is not on board with the program.
Coinciding with Employee Appreciation week the organization thinks that buying off staff by treating them with a few sweet treats, silly childish games and recognition for a week makes the corporate efforts to abuse and harass on a year long basis go away.
Employee Appreciation Week is a timid effort at making work life here tolerable when it is in fact insulting. Treat clients and staff was adults and it will go a lot farther than a few sweets and silly pictures of "leaders" interacting with the serfs.

    Advice to Management

Start treating people with respect instead of disposable assets, would make the environment better for staff, clients and better results for the corporate number crunchers.
"Buy In" isn;t a bunch of people nodding heads and smiling, they are doing it from fear.
