I worked at TD full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, the PTO is amazing. I learned a lot in my line of work, but also about employee appreciation & being a good coworker. The WOW! Culture is something I wish many more organizations would learn & adopt. Do a browser search for Halloween photos, they depict this wonderful culture :) They go above and beyond to make Employees and Customers feel special. They have a mission of diversity and inclusivity, and it's apparent. WOW! your Customer, whether internal or external, fosters a positive working environment.

    Cons

Balance. During my long tenure, it was always expected to respond to emails at all hours and on vacations. No matter what department I reported to (there were 3 in my tenure, and in separate areas of the bank. Same expectation in each one). I once had to take my laptop to Europe on vacation. Yes, the work is important, but there have to be better backup and coverage plans. And sometimes...it can wait. It's WOW! to get back to people quickly, but you need personal balance too...and some things can wait until Monday.

    Advice to Management

Give folks better work life balance. Put the phones away after hours. Don't expect employees to email you 24/7. Take a breather and enjoy life. Your family won't always be there.

I worked at TD full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, great benefits, solid fourty hours, team environment. Bonuses are great and shift differential if working after 11 AM.

    Cons

They pay well most likely because the job duties are redundant and can be stressful. Scheduled breaks are nice but they don't want you to ever take even a bathroom break.
