I have been working at TD full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You will get Learning opportunities, salary, vacations, coworkers, utilities, knowledge, experience

    Cons

lazy managers depends on what branch are you working for... Managers are lazy, working 4-5 hours per day and not helping the branch to grow

    Advice to Management

You should review who is managing your branches, I am sure there are really good people in management positions, but there are also really lazy and bad managers working in your branches

I have been working at TD (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, quarterly bonus, nothing more

    Cons

lack of communication between the phone customer service reps and the store reps

    Advice to Management

Make sure the phone customer service reps understand the products better. I get plenty of customers who become mad because they were told over the phone to come to a store, only to find out we cant help them

    Pros

Sales while important are not as strict as other banks such as Wells Fargo. Good performance is recognized. Most managers/bosses are competent and will help you. Easy to move up if you limit mistakes and can have passable sales. Good pay.

    Cons

Unfortunately my branch was poorly run compared to others I have helped out at. The way your customer service is measured is through an extremely flawed methodology that can screw you over easily. Work life balance is not very good at my branch. Long hours and open 7 days a week. Fake environment about helping customers and being your best friend would be a huge turnoff if I banked there.

    Advice to Management

LEI is a poorly designed measure for customer satisfaction. Promotions shouldn't be sales based as you end up with managers who are good salespeople and terrible at management.

I worked at TD full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Generous PTO, there is a desire to improve customer service but resources and tools are not there to assist employees, hence unrealistic expectation.

    Cons

You will not have the time to take time off due to hight turnover. Leadership outside the store is out of touch with reality.

    Advice to Management

Be realistic. Reason. Support your store team.
