    Pros

insurance company that actually cares about it's policyholders

    Cons

profitable company with stable revenue but engages in constant pointless restructuring. This causes a feeling of instability amongst employees. Key employees are overloaded wiith work due to constant downsizing and have grown tired of the unnecessary instability. CEO refers to this as necessary change but it hardly seems necessary given the profitablity of the company and mostly seems like change for the sake of change.

    Advice to Management

map out a game plan and stick with it. The core values of the company are solid. Your key employees are on board but are growing war weary.

I have been working at TDIC full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very large real estate development and master planning projects covering residential, hotels, infrastructure, schools, entertainment, sewage treatment plants, bridges, etc.

    Cons

Lack of knowledge of the Real estate development business, lack of vision. Not trusting employees, seeking knowledge from outside company vs own team.

    Advice to Management

    Empower your employees

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at TDIC as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Good environment, despite the changes. People are very friendly. Good mix of emiratis and expats. A good chance to be involved in some prestigious projects in Abu Dhabi. Also - good discounts across the city :)

    Cons

Lack of direction in the current situation (2016). Changes in structure has caused uncertainties and many people do not know about their career development plan, or even have one.

Many people have recently been let go. Need more staff as resource running low and workload is still the same.

    Advice to Management

Listen more to employees at all levels. Changes in the board and structural changes have not brought about clear strategy as of yet. This lack of vision and strategy is demotivating employees. Hear them out and hire more people to help! Re-establish strategy and advisory team and this will support the roll out of the new strategy, mission, vision and aim. Support individuals with their career development plan. Give them incentives to re-motivate them.

I worked at TDIC full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people selected to work there were generally very good

    Cons

The HR process to get hired was a nightmare and then the Director of HR would invalidate all the negotiations made with the HR rep but you would only find out on the day of starting...so take it or leave it.

    Advice to Management

Company is basically going bust now.
