I have been working at TEAGUE full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

TEAGUE'rs tend to dedicate many years of their career to defining the future of flight.
The challenges you are tasked with solving are inspiring, important, real-world problems that affect billions of passengers every year.
TEAGUE treats you like family and supports employees who chose to grow their family.
Parental leave policy, multiple private/lockable Mother's rooms, flexible schedules to support employees' family responsibilities.
Beautiful studio, multiple work zones to enable all types of work styles.

    Cons

Location makes it challenging to take public transportation to work

I worked at TEAGUE full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Reasonable work life balance. Decent benefits for a company of this size. Lots of interesting, creative and fun people work there.

    Cons

New hire PTO package is the same whether you are a college grad or mid-career professional...good for new hires but acts as a deterrent to mid-career folks. Pay is OK but not great. Same with benefits, but for a company of this size they are probably better than average.

    Advice to Management

Take time to understand and appreciate those who are not designers...they are the ones who keep the company running.

    Pros

Great company to work for, fun and progressive. Seems like they value work-life balance
Good management, good benefits, great vacation time, cool looking offices, competitive salaries.

    Cons

After working there several years and as the company grows, it’s starting to have a more “corporate” feel.
Some people can work from home, and others can’t. So if you live in Seattle and have to work permanently at the Everett office, the commute can be a huge turn off (at least two hours per day lost in your commute as well as $2K-$3K per year in gas and car maintenance.

I have been working at TEAGUE full-time

    Pros

As the 'original' design consultancy TEAGUE provides a unique history and legacy to be a part of. I'm fortunate in that i find that a truly daily inspiration for me. To know that i'm now part of it's history and also have the responsibility to keep it going is awesome. There are also some amazingly talented people here.

    Cons

As with any consultancy in today's world it can be a challenge to find the right focus and direction, we've tried some things, some have worked and some haven't. There are still some people that aren't being leveraged and others that shouldn't be in the roles they are.

    Advice to Management

Empower the right people to lead. Focus on people and content, if you provide a creative environment that focuses on quality of content and rewards and attracts the best talents through appropriate benefits. The rest will take care of it's self.

    I worked at TEAGUE full-time

    Pros

Highly intelligent co-workers who make the most of their surroundings
Great locations in the Seattle area
    Fair pay, good benefits

    Cons

    Limited opportunities for advancement
Lack of transparency between staff and management
Employee development and training opportunities are doled out to a select few
Several policies were not disclosed upon hiring which led to a disconnect between the company culture and actual behavior

    Advice to Management

Provide opportunities for growth and advancement
If you put it in writing, make sure that all are accountable
