I have been working at TEAM Industrial Services as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good pay
    Usually stay busy
    Plenty of OT
Recruiters are always down to earth.
They don't nickel and dime you to where you want to go else where
    Quality equipment

    Cons

Never know when job will end but that's any job in this industry.
Hiring unskilled employees/ having too many foreman on the job

    Advice to Management

Hire less foreman and pay the skilled workers better.
The foreman should be skilled in all areas.
Foreman should not be warm bodies holding a radio in a truck.

I have been working at TEAM Industrial Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work is good as long as you are allowed in the Plants, during turnarounds.and if you are buddies with the Scheduler.

    Cons

The company is extremely prejudice. If you are black or hispanic, don't even think about a promotion. This company is all about hiring friends and family. Nepotism is running wild, regardless if they are qualified OR not. Leaning more towards NOT. There is no such thing as confidentiality. Within a day of speaking with upper management, your confidential conversation is known by all TEAM employees and Plant personel. . Over half of the employees cannot gain access to the plants because they cannot pass the hair folicle.
TEAM INDUSTRIAL SERVICES IS A JOKE and probably won't be around much longer. Due to recordables, they are only allowed in a select few plants. What goes around, comes around.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring your frineds and family, promote from within, begin random drug testing everyone. Not just the ones you KNOW will pass the drug test and advise the scheduler to give everyone an opportunity to work. Not just his buddies.

I have been working at TEAM Industrial Services full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Upward career path, pays well, interesting work and great direct management. Team challenges it's workers to strive for a better way to work. Safety is of utmost importance.

    Cons

Long hours are demanded of you. You can be asked to travel to where the work is on a moments notice. Benefits are not as good as some of their equal sized competitors.

    Advice to Management

Train field personnel to be a better reflection of the company with more company knowledge. Customers see them every day, they should represent our company in it's best form.
