    Pros

Good pay, game room, beautiful facility, the management team is amazing and understanding, community oriented with their day of giving each year

    Cons

Environment, staff, not much else. The environment that some of the staff creates can make the place a little unpleasant, even if not involved. Things are constantly Changing on some campaigns

    Cons

Large corporation. It takes time to get to know people and who is doing what

I worked at TELUS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy job to get. Very nice facility. Open opportunities to move up with hard work. Management listens to employees

    Cons

Given schedules are based upon performance. Sometimes not a good thing because metrics are very objective and cannot account for some intricacies.

I worked at TELUS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The team was very close knit and we worked remotely but hand in hand with Google employees at their various Corporate locations, including Mountain View, Chicago, and New York City to support high end advertising clients including Zappos and 360i. The interaction with the client base was very rewarding. Telus itself had a great volunteer services culture to the local community which I thought was fantastic!

    Cons

The Telus Center itself had a very big issue with bathrooms (only 3 stalls and 4 urinals for males out of the entire building!) and this persisted for over two years before being addressed at a center with over 500 male employees. To their credit, they did fix this eventually by expanding one restroom and adding another additional restroom, but it languished for quite some time.

    Advice to Management

The best advice I could have gave to Telus as a whole would be to show a bit more transparency in some decisions and managerial promotions. There seemed to be a lot of resentment from other Campaigns (not so much the Google DoubleClick Campaign) in the promotion choices. This may have been addressed since 2014, however.

I have been working at TELUS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, great staff. Everyone is awesome here beside the typical call center drama. But if you manage to steer clear of it - you'll grow and be just fine. Lots of Overtime for hourly positions.

    Cons

Must have open availability. Don't expect for them to work around your life. 24 hour call center so you schedule can land anywhere through out the day.

    Pros

Yearly review and raise + yearly bonus. Developmental programs for those looking to advance. Positive environment. For the most part the managers and Sr Ops are all very approachable and friendly.

    Cons

Does not pay as much as other centers. As always- there is a chance you will be working with a poor performing or inexperienced manager.

    Advice to Management

Your Leads really do need to be paid more. An employee friendly environment is great, but most will ultimately leave to better support themselves and their families.

I have been working at TELUS (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible with schedule to a certain extend. 24 hours a day open 365 days

    Cons

There is a lot of favoritism when it comes to promoting and growing with the company. You want to be promoted be friends with the big boys.
