    Pros

Good benefits-- medical and 401k match. Promising leadership... a lot of changes recently, but streamlining upper management with forward thinking leadership. All the C-levels have changed. Hires really well.

    Cons

Slow to turn. Antiquated systems that are in the process of being updated. Pressure sales. Company culture is a work in progress.

    Advice to Management

Stay the course. Vision for the company is promising.

I have been working at TESSCO full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The management team lets you sell to your account base your way. As long as you can prove that you are doing your job and doing it well, you are left to do so. If you start falling behind, leadership will work with you to move sales to the next level.

    Cons

There are a lot of levels of people with different responsibilities making it difficult to get answers to customers in a timely manner. It is difficult to push items out of the warehouse when they don't keep stock of product your customers need. The inventory system is very old school and could really use an update.

    Advice to Management

Allow for forecasts. Stock items that valued customers need so that we can cut lead times to those customers. Don't promote people based on tenure! Promote based on performance!

I have been working at TESSCO full-time

    Pros

Good benefits, days off, 401k match. If you like to travel, there is a lot of it.

    Cons

If you don't like to travel, there is a lot of it. Very "corporate america" environment.

    Advice to Management

Times are changing and so is the American culture. Dress to impress doesn't always mean a button down suite, especially if the customer is wearing jeans and a polo. It really makes some of them uncomfortable.

I have been working at TESSCO as an intern

    Pros

Great environment, continually up to date with competitive software, your work is valued, fair hours and compensation, very modern and clean office

    Cons

Tends to be the typical corporate office that does not have a ton of energy and is more serious. At times there seemed to be communication issues when working within departments.

    Advice to Management

Provide a clearer management structure to allow for better communication between departments. It is decent sized company and could benefit from harnessing the full communication of its employees.
