Pros
If your location is full staffed then they're will always be someone willing to pick up a shift if you need the day off. If you want more hours there's always someone willing to give up a shift as well. Fast paced, can be fun sometimes and the money is good if you know what you're doing.
Cons
Can be extremely stressful most nights. In bad locations you have to deal with ignorance all of the time. People will try and make it so that they don't have to pay by finding something wrong even if it's very minor. Friday's closes at 2 and sometimes you have to stay as late as 2:30-3:00am depending on how much side work needs to be done. When it's busy and you work a double it can be hard to get a break...which is illegal!

Fun and energetic, but super tiring
Nov 7, 2021 - Server/Waiter in Tysons Corner, VARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Loved working at Friday’s, the environment was always extremely fast paced and my coworkers were very kind and helpful.
Cons
Customers will give you a hardddd time, but that’s to be expected as a server. Management does not always care about your time off requests, I’ve had some mishaps with that.

TGI Fridays is a great environment to work in. It is very fast pace and there are a lot of great people that work there.
Cons
During my time working at TGI Fridays we were understaffed for the majority of it and I was having to pick up serving/cooking shifts as a manager in order to make it through the day.

It's an ever changing fast paced work environment. Free food at any Tgi fridays is a bonus as well.

The hours required to make a restaurant successful are crazy. The cost controls are very aggressive but achieve able if you put the hours in.
