I worked at THE One full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are no pros...Nothing. Don't work for them.

    Cons

The worst company that I worked for in my six years in Thailand!!! I was placed through the One Songkla at a school teaching 1st grade when I specifically said I would not teach anything below third grade. The owner hid the information about the school saying was above third grade until I had no choice but to stay with the position as the job that she promised my husband fell through. We made an extensive move down to southern Thailand on assurances that we both had guaranteed positions (stupid us!). It just went down hill from there and I can go into a long rant detailing the hellish year I spent working with The One. The are very unorganized, unprofessional, shady, underhanded, untrustworthy and last minute in everything they do. The owner, Miss Karn, is a horrible person who only cares about the money she gets from you and how pretty she looks. They charge the schools an extra 8-10 thousand baht a month and do the BARE minimum. If you are desperate and do work for The One, make sure that you check your bank account every month to insure they pay you the full amount as they tried to pay me less for a couple months. Also expect your payment to be 4-5 days late every month. I had to call Miss Karn every month to check on my pay even though the school payed The One on the 1st every month.

    Pros

If they like u as a person u can make it 90 days and possibly if there's a career position available u can make 23.12 an hour

    Cons

15.68 an hour till u make career and u will have to wait till someone retired so it can be a 1 to 6 years depends on your level on people that come in and people who want that location that came before u. Now mind u if a supervisor don't like u your done no matter what I don't care if u have proof that your performance has changed and u are doing better then the people u hired with your done and u can't fight it . Second if u get hired do not sign up for the union they can not protect u till a 120 days of employment check the letter carriers websites don't listen to what they tell u till then I promise they can't protect u even if u been done wrong and u can prove it they will tell u other wise but I work there and I know for a fact . U can get a day off work if your location doesn't do amozon account so find that out first before u apply for that location trust me if it is an Amazon location u will work 7 days a week

    Advice to Management

Managemnet is poor 96%of location I found the smaller the office is meaning 30 people or less the better the mangmemt is and management is truly people who couldn't carrier mail with no degrees telling u what to do trust me the post office is like a mini ghetto of all kinds

I worked at THE One full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy place to work - I actually left quite a while ago but the drop down only allows 2012

    Cons

It's a little lost in whether it is a business or an NGO - not always a bad thing

I worked at THE One (More than 10 years)

    Pros

systematic training and personal career development. There is career growth at The one.

    Cons

decision making is ultimately at the discretion of the owner, unlike a board of directors set up. some decisions might end up being bias.

    Advice to Management

Sudden hierarchy changes can lead to de-motivation of staff who are eager to grow.

I worked at THE One full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are none...feel sorry for the decent employees left there. Good Luck, you are going to need it.

    Cons

They fire people on a constant basis for the most ridiculous things. Staff turnover is like a revolving door. Listening to management and owner put down staff on a constant basis was tiring. When ownership changed in 2013, this place went downhill fast. It is constantly understaffed and they expect the already over worked employees to pick up slack. NO MATTER WHAT. Super negative place to work on a daily basis.

    Advice to Management

Can you give a narcissist advice?
