    Pros

    - Great technology
    - Smart and likeable co-workers

    Cons

    - Out of sync with market needs
    - Product quality issues
    - Top management in disarray and no real blueprint for success

    Advice to Management

Get some diverse perspectives in the boardroom, seek feedback from employees & customers, and above all, do some basic market research to know what should be your key focus

I have been working at TIBCO Software full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Autonomy to manage your daily tasks, responsibilities and personal life
Great place to grow your skill set and expand your expertise across the integration space
Flexible PTO: Within reason, and assuming you're on top of your work tasks and commitments
Hearing great stuff about TIBCO in the latest Forrester Wave on Enterprise Insight Platform Suites

    Cons

Communication from management is often less than great, vague or generally not helpful
Increasingly becoming a culture where everything is about the bottom line: There is nothing wrong with a company focused on making a profit, but when you start to sacrifice employee moral for this something has gone wrong.
Zero guidance or visibility from HR and Management about career paths and growth.
Diminishing benefits: Health care costs going up with less coverage, No paternity policy

I have been working at TIBCO Software (More than a year)

    Pros

The ability to work from home is a plus.

    Cons

TIBCO was a great company until they were acquired by Vista. Only management is promoted from within. No opportunity for growth. Churn & Burn

I have been working at TIBCO Software full-time

    Pros

Decent salary, good benefits, negotiable perks, manageable work hours (most of the time), helpful and hardworking employees (non-management)

    Cons

Current CTO is excellent but his vision doesn't trickle to engineering micro teams.
Field consultants have an excellent support community that exists in isolation from sales/engineering
If you're anywhere except Sales or upper management- your efforts won't be well compensated

    Advice to Management

You have to stop the internal politics if we want to take the company back where it once was.

I have been working at TIBCO Software full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay and nice benefits. Exposure to training and lots of software solutions.

    Cons

There is little to no collobaration as the resources are all over the world and in many cases spread very thin. If you are not connected with the correct team you find yourself uniformed and always feeling disconnected.

    Advice to Management

Create more opportunities for employees to work together. Do a better job with communication and transparency

I have been working at TIBCO Software (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's great to work in a cloud-based product team in TIBCO. You'll be involved in working with all other TIBCO products in different teams. You have the chance to go abroad to different centers of TIBCO which is a very exciting thing.

    Cons

The salary rise is slow. They try to save money to acquire new company or do something else. More and more senior engineers begin to lose patient and left.

    Advice to Management

Please look important to your stuff, try to give them a rise actively, otherwise, they'll think about changing company. Especially for the senior engineers.

I have been working at TIBCO Software full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great work-life balance, as everyone is pretty much sitting on their hands waiting for this corporate collapse to run its course.

    Cons

    - Outdated products.
    - No decent cloud/SAAS offering.
    - Projects are failing, deals are being lost, too many people are getting fired and leaving.
    - The company has lost it's sparkle.

    Advice to Management

too many people are leaving because they didn't feel respected or valued. TIBCO unfortunately let go of quality employees that were critical to business function and then as a result even more quality employees had resigned.
You let the talent go and the people left are walking blindly.
