    Pros

Fair in pay/ benefits and friendly people, pretty good Christmas party.

    Cons

Did not like being under some management types.

    Advice to Management

no real advice, don't promote people if they do not have experience in dealing with people.

I have been working at TIMCO Aviation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good company with a lot of growth in the past three years. If your not management than you are paid weekly. 120 hours of vacation/ paid time off per year. Lots of overtime potential

    Cons

No automatic pay increases. Typical aviation job where 24/7 work environment makes scheduling time off a challenge.

I have been working at TIMCO Aviation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent working conditions. They do provide benefits but they are expensive. They provide a 401k but don't pay enough to be able to contribute.

    Cons

Been with the company over 3 yrs and have yet to get a raise. Won't even discuss it...... same reply..... "it's not in the budget." Is it in your budget to replace someone like myself with an exceptional work ethic & 30 yrs. experience?!? AND not missed a day since I started!

Pay is below the 2010 median as determined by the Dept. of Labor & Statistics!! Look it up!

Communication is non-existent. A yr. now that company was bought by Haeco. Where are we going? How are we going to get there? What the heck is going on?

    Advice to Management

Come off the hip pocket! We need more money!!!!
Communicate!!! Listen to the people who are actually doing the work and not the damn bean counters! Yes, we need to make a profit. But what about a quality service/product? Communicate to the worker bees the direction the company is heading/wanting to go.

Small location helps. Good standing company through many buy outs.

    Cons

Communication with upper management leaves a lot to be desired.
Salaries/hourly wages are not in line with industry.

    Pros

All work is inside , a lot of hardworking and Seasoned Mechanics. Upper Management. (GM and DOM) are good at what they do..

    Cons

High turnover rate...a lot of young untrained work force. Not a lot of Money there so one leads to the other...

    Advice to Management

Dump the Carriers aircraft you are working on and bid with other carriers... Two carriers want they're aircraft to be worked there...because of logistics

I worked at TIMCO Aviation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Stable job. Low to decent pay. Like most other job, you must show them you are valuable and a great asset for them to consider paying you more. If you want to start a family and work five days a week with the somewhat the same task, this is the place for you.

    Cons

If you are one of those necessary people, you can take a vacation if you are lucky, but you will be on call.
