I have been working at TJ Maxx part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I often review Tjmaxx because I am so grateful to work for a company that helps families.
For me a recent pro is being enrolled in the retirement plan.
It feels great to be a part of something so beautiful.
Security for the absolute first time in my life.

    Cons

    I still have none.
Even if there was one, every con can be turned into a pro because you can make anything positive.

    Advice to Management

    Keep on guiding~~~~
    Keep on teaching~~~~
And most of all keep on keeping on~~✨

I have been working at TJ Maxx part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Great culture

    Autonomy

    Flexibility

    Easy to move up

    Cons

There are many younger (high-school/early college) employees that work here that haven't quite learned 'work ethic'. I often find myself working harder to make up for this.

I have been working at TJ Maxx part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The best reasons to work at the TJX companies is because they love feeding you, you get paid $9 an hr and you get paid weekly.

    Cons

The downsides are standing for long periods of time and if you’re part time you only get a 15 min. break, so pack a lunch!

    Advice to Management

Overall, I’ve enjoyed working at TJ Maxx, it’s my first job and I’m loving every bit of it.

I have been working at TJ Maxx full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly coworkers. Its nice to have small incentives for a job well done.

    Cons

If you are good in one area, management usually keeps you working in that part of the store even if you ask and are interested to work in other areas. It can get boring when there are other jobs to do and other interest and responsibilities that you are capable of.

    Advice to Management

Keep providing the small incentives, but also listen to what the employees are interested in doing. If they are interested in doing multiple jobs around the store, they will most likely do them well if thats where they want to be.
