I have been working at TJ Maxx full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

TJX is amazing organization and i love my job. I started out as a part associate then promoted to a part-time coordinator and then full time just a short time after that. It all depends on your development they dont just hand out postions to people. I feel like majority of these comments are negative and i do feel bad but its actually a good place to work there is an open door policy and you can talk to anyone about any issue you have HR is effective and great i have had amazing opportunities with being a coordinator and i am forever grateful for my management team and my associates who really do work hard and it is very fast pace so if anyone plans on applying here be ready to literally "Kick It In To MAXX Drive"

    Cons

Communication between coordinators and management can be a tad bit better. Bad workers always come through the doors but if trained effectively.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your key carriers and coordinators

I worked at TJ Maxx part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They were very flexible and understanding with schedules. I could almost always get requested time off. I loved the people I worked with. They were eager to train and promote hard workers. Great first job or further with full-time.

    Cons

Low pay, not enough part-time hours to go around at my location.

I have been working at TJ Maxx part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The young people make it fun

    Cons

Some customers are a bit needy, management changes often at least 4 new ones when i was there. The "surprise" visits from the regional manger have managers on pins and needles. Sometimes feels like there are never enough people to help at night. The older workers act like they run the place and have snarky attitudes. Plus you never get a real raise started out 10/11 at 7.25 left making 7.85 01/2014

    Advice to Management

Hire more people to help run the sales floor instead of trying to get the most out of one employee doing 5 jobs at once.
