I worked at TMP Directional Marketing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company honestly tried to satisfy its client's customers.

    Cons

In my opinion, too much importance was given to average call handling time. In many cases, my calls had to be ended sooner than I believed they should have been to conform to the AHT guidelines.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to the proper handling of customer situations than to how quickly a call can be completed.

    Pros

    *Benefits are above average.
*TMP does have many great, exciting brands to work with.
*Usually a younger demographic of hungry, enthusiastic employees.

    Cons

*Compensation is far, far below average.
*The usually younger demographic of hungry, enthusiastic employees burn out fast. Typically because they are not listened to, promoted, appreciated or taken seriously.
    *Senior management is chaotic
    *turn-over is very high
    *the company is always down-sizing/layoffs

    Advice to Management

    *promote talent with in
*listen to younger leaders in the company
*invest in young, hungry management - vs. older, traditional management that does not know what it takes to succeed in a web 2.0 world

    Pros

Awesome benefits. 21 paid days of vacation on your first day of work, good medical and dental.

    Cons

Incompetent management team. Felt like high school, very cliquish. Couldn't wait to get out of there!

    Advice to Management

Your employee morale is the worst I have ever experienced and your pay is even worse!

    Pros

PTO in benefits package is good. Good location in Glendale.

    Cons

Pretty much everything else. Management was often derogatory and disrespectful.

    Advice to Management

Show employees that they are valued by respecting their time and knowledge. Share information, treat them well, allow them to grow. Don't promote simply by time with the company.
