    Pros

    Deep subject-matter expertise, reasonably good benefits, good work-life balance including flexible hours, no mandatory 9 to 5 presence, good reputation in the Netherlands.

    Cons

    Somewhat old-fashioned (although this is changing), dependence on government subsidies, not as well-known abroad as, for e.g., Fraunhofer Institute.

    It was a nice company to work for. Great variety of projects, possibility to choose your own growth path, great work-life balance.

    Cons

    Sometimes managing your own time across multiple projects would be tricky.

    Lots of freedom. Very nice and motivating people.

    Cons

    Lots of freedom means lots of responsibilities. This could sometimes reflect negatively on the overall performance.

    Ever changing and challenging technological environment with freedom and fun to work in while tackling real and relevant problems for customers.

    Cons

    Can be conservative in decision making and processes, somewhat burdened by legacy, that is now being turned around into new and nimble structures.

    You can learn a lot and meet with many people from the industry.
    Nice setup of courses.
    Semi-international environment and can also help with learning Dutch.

    Cons

    Salaries are on the low side compared to the industry.
    Management and engineers are living in two different worlds...

    Quite advanced in technology which is not yet coming to the market. Sometimes work load is low due to unavailable projects.

    Full freedom to innovate and explore. Excellent learning opportunity. It is a challenging environment.
