    Pros

Best company to work for; great supervisor and interesting and varied work. Great pay and conditions and opportunity to work in England,

    Cons

Out in all weathers, can be quite challenging especially when the CAPI machine breaks down in heavy rain.

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing what you are doing because you are very understanding and encouraging on the job

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at TNS Sofres full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary is below the market rate. There's a fair bit of variety and quite a lot of employees so the social side of things can be fun if you have the time

    Cons

The company is hierarchical and political and you'll only progress as far and be as visible as your manager allows

    Advice to Management

Review salary of more junior employees, there are too many directors that don't add much and place greater emphasis on the junior staff

I worked at TNS Sofres as a contractor

    Pros

Free drinks machine, flexible hours, easy job, good line managers.
    Comfortable work environment.
Friendly atmosphere and the work can sometimes be quite interesting.
    Good transport links.

    Cons

Low pay, very little career opportunities, no job security even when taken on as a permanent member of staff ( zero hours contracts) .

    Advice to Management

Raise pay, improve staff retention by guaranteeing hours by contract.

    Pros

was not being paid for overtime initially but then got paid for overtime after a few days of employment.

Supervisors were bias and clear instructions were not given to carry out assigned tasks.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at TNS Sofres full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A large company with a lot of resource, scope to learn different research methodologies, big budget international projects, lots of scope for managing projects and people. Very process-driven.

    Cons

You are made to feel like an expendable resource, not consulted on which projects you will work on but swapped around depending on need.

Over-time is expected, unpaid and unthanked, but without it you won't progress.

Extra hours are not billed to the client so profits are buoyed up by you sacrificing your spare time. The shareholders are so grateful!

Salaries are very low, even higher up, and bonuses are non-existent (50 Euros last year).

    Advice to Management

Stop exploiting your staff and interns, bill correctly, and accept that you are deeply in the red.
