      Fired for nothing

      Pros

      It's nothing but a paycheck.

      Cons

People get fired for minor incidences. The worst HR department I've ever worked with. Upper manager are hammers so everything looks like a nail to them. TPG is a rigid place to work. If they do not like you for any reason, you're gone! Do not dare give your suggestions to anyone, it will come back to haunt you in ways you never thought of. Providence has a very unhappy staff. All the best workers have left.

      Good company to work for

Dec 22, 2020 - Sales Manager in Newton, MA

      Pros

TPG is a great place for growth opportunities, I was promoted within three month of working there.

      Cons

They’re on the tighter side with money. Your salary is going to be slightly lower than average, and they have odd policies when it comes to PTO and 401K’s. (You can’t use your PTO until you’ve been working there for a year, and you can’t start your 401K with them until you’ve been working there for a year.

Not a great hotel company to work for.

Jan 13, 2021 - Front Office Manager in Chicago, IL

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Low health insurance cost for employees.

      Cons

Low expectations. No management development. No bonuses as properties they run are usually "not profitable". No incentives for personal phone for managers even though you would receive calls for issues 24 hours, 7 days a week. Low pay.
