    Pros

Good pay for people with no higher education, potential for advancement (depending on airport), meet people from around the world.

I worked at TSA (Transportation Security Administration) part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Teamwork among majority of workforce was stellar. Job is low impact and easy to do. Benefits available at part time. Pay is good. Uniform is nice and looks good.

    Cons

Administration is slow to react, communication between different parts of the company is quite stifled. Consensus on important aspects of the job is difficult due to the sensitive nature of it. Complacency and lack of initiative are common among less than ideal employees. Shifts range from inconvenient to terribly incompatible with normal working hours. Getting to work takes a lot of time, close proximity recommended.

I have been working at TSA (Transportation Security Administration) full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Pay is good, insurance and other benefits are good

    Cons

They look for ways to write you up or fire you as soon as you start which I never understood. They prefer you to use your time to do mandatory training. They discipline good employees that make minor mistakes, but don't do anything to constant problem employees. They only promote people they like or who lie on their skills regardless of qualifications. Morale is very poor overall.
