I worked at TSMC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good medical insurance plan and stable job

    Cons

    1. Hardwork are not recognized since the big bosses are in Taiwan.
    2. HR keep lying about good bonus and salary progression. Then you join and realize it's not just lower than what they said, but SUBSTANTIALLY lower. And later you find out HR here is so powerful that your boss can't even help you with a more reasonable pay.
    3. Hours are long considering the poor salary. There are lots of meetings till night with the Taiwan people

    Pros

The money is okay, basically this company obey the laws and government regulations.

    Cons

No life. Very pushing (unreasonable request) and they will ask you to do so to others if they think it's needed.

    Advice to Management

Think about your employees are one of their own family and they are no slave robots or data generators.

    Good money / profit sharing

    Cons

1> Managers are mostly ignorant, but treated like God
2> No opportunity of knowledge growth
3> No industry like culture, it's much like academics, a bunch of people just following their manager's directions (as if Professor) for money (as if grade)

    Advice to Management

May be learn from other companies how a big company is run. Money may be favoring you today, but it won't always.
