I worked at TSMC (Less than a year)

    Pros

They have one of the highest pays in Taiwan for the semiconductor industry. It is also an internationally known company, so workers can lean a lot about the newest technology trends.

    Cons

With high pay, the workload is not light. It might be necessary to work overtime to get things finished. However, this is how life is in Asia, and generally this has a high CP value in terms of worker benefits.

    Advice to Management

no any suggestion. they provide a good environment for internship student. We are very appreciate to have the opportunity to being an internship student there.

    Pros

The work environment is very great and summer intern can have chance to take look at different departments, large flexibility.

    Cons

But full-time engineer needs to spend more time and effort on it. More than 45 hours a per is usual.

    Advice to Management

The summer internship program is great, but it will be better if the program has more specific task for students to accomplish.

    Pros

When I rate my work at TSMC, am particularly referring to my group headed by a foriengner who is one of the top most person in the field as well as the first fellow (highest academic title in a company) of the company. Since I work directly with this person as my boss, my work at TSMC has raised my academic, professional as well as my technical standards which am glad it came at an early stage of my career.

    Cons

Language could be an issue if working in a group thats not headed by a forienger.

    Advice to Management

    they doing great job.
