I worked at TSS Photography part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Learned photography and how to deal with kids and their parents.

    Cons

Seasonal, so not a full time job.

    Advice to Management

Pay a little higher to stop the high turnover rate of employees.

    Pros

I love capturing moments to remember for any type of occasions & either for adults or children. It's just something I love

    Cons

Sometimes working with babies can become very challenging when they are fussy and did not get nap time. But the good thing is that I have patience to spare.

    Advice to Management

    Have patience

I worked at TSS Photography full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

While my time in TSS Photography was brief, I can say with confidence that it is the most well-organized company I've worked for in a long time. The people are also kind, considerate, and helpful.

    Cons

Despite the lack of equipment when dealing with a vast amount of clients, the company is organized in the sense of how to deal with the amount at the moment.

I worked at TSS Photography full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The only pro this job had was I made some good friends with other employees and it was close to home.
I've heard the owner sold the company and can only hope the new owners are nothing like the old.

    Cons

When I was there they would hire people that worked in the back, not telling them it was a temp/sessional job and then fire them a few months later. Also the upper management and owner use to hire only pretty women to work in the office so they could hit on them. It was the worse job I've ever had.

    Pros

Working with children and the outdoor environment.

    Cons

Staff communication non-existent. Unprofessional and disrespectful management.

    Advice to Management

Needs communication improvement. Would be able to keep employees if they knew how to effectively talk to employees.

  8. "When corporate doesn't have their act together, the disorganization trickles down to the franchises."

    Pros

The franchise I worked for had a lot of great people there. My boss gave me opportunity to move into other aspects of the business, allowing for me to gain a wider range of experience.

    Cons

The turnover was very high. In the 2 years I worked there as a photographer they went through 4 office managers. The work environment should not be that stressful, but constantly having new people who are in training bred problems.

    Advice to Management

    Better training. More office help.

I worked at TSS Photography full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

True colors shine bright after 31 years of cluelessness and karma prevails every time. The employees that make it all happen are treated like 2nd class citizens.

    Cons

Sad that they don't have a clue after 3 decades. They just chose not to advance their technology. TSS is left in the dust.

    Advice to Management

    Run for the hills.
