It’s been more than 5 years now (a first in my career), converted from a manual to an SDET. The technology stack, framework they use keeps on updating from time to time keeping you on track. Working hours are between 12-9 and environment and work life balance are second to none.

After completing 1.5 years at TSYS, I find following pros worth mentioning a) Supportive management that is open to newer ideas and change b) Culture of Team appreciation. Lot of gifts so much so that I can't recall lot of them. c) Focus on performance and transparency. Got out of cycle hike in last 1.5 years that too without asking. Obviously HRs are proactive with regard to market correction. d) Management has vision for the company e) No carry forward of leaves hence making sure employees take leave from time to time leading to better work life balance. f) Enterprise subscription of Udemy which means you can learn whenever/whatever you want for free. g) Every day is a learning, products that we get to work on are so comprehensive that if you have interested the work will keep you engaged. h) Hackathons which allow TMs to test their knowledge outside of projects. i) IJP: All new positions are first offered internally if no one is found suitable then only these positions go to outside market. So good chance of growth.

a) Salary structure at the moment is not tax friendly. So a lot of money goes in taxes. Finance team is looking into this, may be by next year structures will improve. b) New joiners please forget abut MS stack. Google Docs, Sheets, Meet are used. It takes some time to get used to Google. No MS Teams and Outlook. c) There's no time to relax. Because you are surrounded by so many high performance people, you have to be constantly thinking on the next work item in the product backlog. d) Health insurance at the moment is limited to 5 lakhs and can't be increased by additional contribution.
