I worked at TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) (Less than a year)

    Pros

TTC was very stable and had great pay. There is consistent work and there is rarely a need to do overtime/ field work as an engineer. They will always make you feel comfortable with the job.

    Cons

It is very slow, even in the very fast paced teams, the development feels slow and there is no urgency to get work done.

    Advice to Management

There are a lot of employees who are milking the company, but there are also a lot of hard-working employees who need to be rewarded.

    Pros

Competitive Wage, great benefits and for the most part the employees are there to help and management is supportive.

    Cons

You don't get to have a lot of say in your scheduling, cannot book of time if you're a summer student.

    Pros

Only thing good about this job is that your paycheque is there every week.

    Cons

Management is horrible, you are always guilty until proven innocent. Shift work will take years off your life and most will end up in divorce.

    Advice to Management

How hard is it for everyone to follow the same system and rules. At least work together with employees rather than against.
