I have been working at TTEC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Money and some good friendships made

    Cons

Dirty floors, desks, illness spread like crazy. You only get 3 sick days a year and many people used those the first month of the year due to all the nasty people there. Everyone around me was sick and had to come to work because they had no time to use. Guess what? The rest of us got sick too. It is hard to come to work because it is so drab and depressing in there. You can't see outside, no books, no paper, nothing. You want to kill yourself on some days, it is so depressing in there. I'm only there for the pay, but will be leaving soon. They had a temp trainer that made fun of people behind their backs, and made everyone afraid to ask her a question in class so they consulted with each other. When she saw them talking, she told them to stop. They were lost. The only way to get ahead into a new position is to be liked by a certain team lead that works there. It is a miserable existence for most of us. The best part is leaving at the end of the day.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the reps, they will tell the truth about how they feel. Have sick time be accumulative like other call centers. Favoritism is so ovvious, make it stop!

    I worked at TTEC part-time

    Pros

You are able to work from home and opportunities for advancement

    Cons

The trainer was giving us incorrect information and others in higher positions knew about it and did not do anything. Once I began taking live calls I was not prepared due to the lack of proper training and incorrect information given.

    Advice to Management

I understand that everyone should have an opportunity to advance in their careers, but please be sure that the trainers are knowledgeable of the training.

I have been working at TTEC full-time

    Pros

There is absolutely nothing good about this company.

    Cons

I received sketchy information about how to get started in the company. I received a check for $5,000 to go out and buy office supplies that were "needed for the job." I received the check and right away knew something was wrong. All that was with the check was a note printed on regular paper, no letterhead or anything (what is customary for most businesses), and instructions to deposit the check and inform the manager when I was finished. I took the check to the bank and they studied it for a while. I brought it back home because they didn't want to deposit it. I googled the credit union that it was issued from to possibly see a sample of what their checks look like. I saw someone else had posted their check from the exact same bank. Hers looked similar to mine, but not exact, and people commented what made her check fake and mine had all of the same qualities.

People said that what scammers usually do is send you a check worth more than you need and then request that you send them a money order for any leftover money, which in my case would have been about $2500.

    Do not trust this company!!!

    Advice to Management

    Get a real job!
