I worked at TTM Technologies as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

We were given concrete projects to work on from the get go. The touched upon a lot of engineering principles and were great keywords to have on a resume. Nobody micromanaged, interns were given the opportunity to have "fresh eyes on an old process."

    Cons

Holes in my pants from walking too close to chemical baths (haha).

    Advice to Management

Nice people who care about the safety of their workers and not just the product.

I have been working at TTM Technologies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Strong senior management team, great vision for the company, hard working colleagues

    Cons

    PTO policy needs significant improvement.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up--you're leading the company in the right direction. However, 10 days of PTO total a year is too small.

I have been working at TTM Technologies full-time

    Pros

I can honestly say that our leadership team across the organization truly cares about their employees. Benefits are ok and there are some opportunities for advancement.

    Cons

With the rapid growth of the organization over the past year, there are opportunities to improve efficiencies. As with any change, there are bumps in the road. TTM acquired VIA Systems last June, so as time goes on, the organization should see a lot of benefits as the two companies capitalize on each others strengths.

    Advice to Management

Keep your focus on your employees as they are the ones who make or break and organization. With the growth, make sure to recognize your teams and develop your teams for future opportunities in the organization.

I worked at TTM Technologies as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company to work for. Good Co-workers. They were really flexible with me with my hours. I was able to take summer classes and they worked around my school schedule quite well. They appreciated everything that we do for the company.

    Cons

The pay is a little bit lower than most other companies however it still is decent. The workplace since it is in a manufacturing setting has a lot of strong odors and loud noises.

    Advice to Management

Listen to more of the employees working on the floor. Many of the problems that have come up could be solved if managers would listen to the people that are under them and implement some of their ideas.

    Pros

The accounting is led by extremely talented people and they are flexible on hours. The pay was generous and the people are great to work with.

    Cons

It is a difficult market they are in so it's tough to continuously stay profitable hence there seems to be regular cycles to growth and downsizing.
