I have been working at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK full-time

    Pros

Nice corporate office. People work hard. They value loyalty. They give back to the community.

    Cons

Compensation lower than average. Top down management style and opaque promotion and compensation processes. Inclusion is listed as a value but doesn't play out in reality.

    Advice to Management

Transparency about promotion and raises. Evaluate your employees, and pay/promote for performance.

I have been working at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Only good thing about working here is the little tips you get, but that's not guaranteed

    Cons

You don't get hours, checks are very low, and you work harder then what you're getting paid.

    Advice to Management

Stop lying to new employees telling them this is an 80 hours every two weeks job and tell them the truth that they're only getting paid for the moves that they do. The drivers don't even get paid for drive time. No way me as a driver should be going home with a $400 check after two weeks of work... Burger King employee make more then I do in two weeks

I have been working at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Tips! They definitely help and can go a long way. Some days you'll get none, the next day you might get a $100 bill

It's a different environment, working with different customers every day.

    Great Home Office

    Cons

    No Benefits, no respect

They will treat you like nothing and expendable. You're forced to work in any environment and are never allowed to walk moves according to the franchise policy in the name of profit. You see a couch covered in cat urine... have to move it.

Constantly changing/lying about policies....Company policy states we can't pianos up more than 4 steps of stairs and there was a flight of stairs we had to go up which we cant do which is unsafe to the policy thus we couldn't take it...apparently I got in trouble for walking a move on my terms because I know when it's unsafe but your boss or anyone has no trust in their employees.

You don't know what to expect. You can have an estimated 3 hour move turn into a 12 hour move throwing off your entire plans later that day

You don't get paid for when you enter the shop upon arrival

Constantly missing hours on my weekly check

A majority of it's coworkers have been there for less than 3 months and they don't know much about packing a truck or really carrying unique pieces

    Advice to Management

Needs to stop treating workers like they are expendable and respect the front line workers that have helped the franchise grow to where they are today instead of everything being about profit. Have more trust in their employees.
