I have been working at TYMCO full-time

    Pros

VERY loyal, looking out for employees, great 401K matching program.

    Cons

Small, family owned business means they do things the old fashioned way. Usually this is very good, occasionally it means they lag behind the 21st Century.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up.

  2. "Boring, unfulfilling and disappointed"

I worked at TYMCO full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Easy money, easy to learn doesn't take more than knowing righty tighty and lefty loosey to make it there. Job security if you don't mind loosing your mind and hearing. But you will still have your sight. Guys that are 78 years old still work there so it won't kill your body but you also won't be able to retire(because of the pay)

    Cons

Little money, expensive health insurance. One of those pool policies to avoid actual insurance. HR rep is a spiteful person.

    Advice to Management

Find a new HR rep, get organized, better health insurance, provide enough tools, post diagrams of assemblies, color code bolts, mandate hearing protection ( not just eye protection to save your own butt), get a new HR rep, increase starting wages or at least pay according to ability, provide more fluids other than tap water, tv for break room, new HR rep
