I have been working at Taco full-time

    Pros

We have lost to many to count. The Owner does care but he and his new CEO believe new senior management blindly.

    Cons

Zero accountability for senior management. The whole truth is never told to the CEO by some of his senior most management and good employees are fired to make up for their mistakes. This company has more than 20 VP's and it's a small company. The same people are always promoted or shuffled around and their previous positions are never back filled.

    Advice to Management

To the CEO. Trust your gut and start verifying what you are being told. It would be very easy to determine who is incompetent or just outright lying to you. Cut your losses before it too late.

    Pros

Good Health Insurance, some of the people are friendly and easy to work with

    Cons

Hard work is not sufficient in order to reach the upper level unless you serve nicely the few "chosen" ones. One clique falls, another one, stronger, quickly replaces it.

    Advice to Management

Make the "upper" environment more "transparent". The 60s style should have been replaced by now.

    Pros

Good benefits, which is the only pro.

    Cons

Just being friendly with senior management is the way to get promoted, which will ultimately destroy the company. No substantive experience is required for management positions.

    Advice to Management

If an employee is demonstrating quality work and leadership potential, give them a chance. You should not base employee promotions on "who"
    you know.
