I have been working at Tad PGS as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Pay is great
    -Paid weekly
-Great working with soldiers & meeting new people

    Cons

-Too many people with "leadership title"
    -Very unorganized
-Remotes don't understand that locals are humans and are also adults

    Advice to Management

I've done 3 rotations with TAD PGS at Ft Hood and it gets worse every time. After this rotation I don't think I would apply to be a employee of TAD anymore. They should've included in the job description as a local that we can't have kids/unexpected life experiences or we would be fired, we have to have an all terrain vehicle (because locals can't drive none of the thirteen 2017 Chevy trucks that belong to the company that's parked by the warehouse), no freedom of speech, must accept favoritism, and must go with the flow of an unorganized/not thoroughly planned mission whether you like it or not. Your opinions and feedback to make the mission go smoother don't matter, even if you know the ropes of everything. From the outside looking in it seem professional but it's internally it's ridiculous...

I have been working at Tad PGS as a contractor

    Pros

Happy to be working again. Entry work way below skill set. Foot in the door toward advancing with Client.

    Cons

Start Date was shoved back almost a month (lost income from PT job adjusting schedule.) Start Day -1, interviewed a past manager, Start Day + 7, Interviewing a former Prof Reference. You would think they would have interviewed my peeps BEFORE hiring/On-boarding.

    Advice to Management

I believe your recruitment teams really need to read the resume, and Interview contacts, Before Placement, your recruiter could place candidates into more advance roles - to better serve the client needs and your goals and candidate expectations.

    Pros

I have been working with TAD almost a year and the company itself is great! I work with a lot of really smart and fun people and there is so much encouragement from management to work on career growth. I highly recommend this as a place to work.

    Cons

I haven't experienced any negative sides of this company.

    Advice to Management

Please keep up your good work. I couldn't ask for a better manager team.

    Pros

Senior management listens to your concerns and suggestions. They give you the time off you need to be with your family and always let us go early on holiday weekends.

    Cons

The only con is the building they are currently located in is a little dingy, but that is not their fault.

    Advice to Management

It would be cool to do more team building exercises now that the pods split up. I'd like to get to know my team more.

I have been working at Tad PGS as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

The overall work environment is pleasant (of course this can vary depending on where your contract is at). The staffing agency/local contacts for the company are always responsive to the client and continually building a strong relationship with the client to develop future opportunities. Additionally, they offer an eLearning suite to help in the development of skills for career growth.

    Cons

The primary cons are Major Healthcare and Stability. In regards to the stability, this can vary based on the contract, some short, some long. Very few direct hire opportunities, but as the company grows its client base, this should get better over time. In regards to major healthcare, the company does not offer one. I see this as a major flaw as more and more people are looking for the stability if they are already working a contract gig. Although, not the company's fault (this is a subsidiary to Adecco) its something they should really re-consider, especially if you hire people who have families.

    Pros

They seem to understand their clients needs and goals. Support staff is informed and trained to support their clients.

    Cons

They seem to be becoming somewhat complacent after having worked with them for a period of years. They seem to need to regroup, and realign their goals.

    Advice to Management

Reassess mission statement, mentor staff on client requirements, and reinforce professionalism and that staff should not take requests personally. They also need to respond to contractors needs promptly.

    Pros

Consideration of management. Being treated like a person and not just a number. The fact that you can ask questions and actually receive answers. The proximity of a management to the place I work.

    Cons

As with any job in this economy the medical benefits could be more generous/ however that is not anything that would cause me to look for any other employer. The trade off more than likely could not replace the feeling of belonging with a great company.

    Advice to Management

Do not stop the way you are currently handling management affairs...please!
