    I worked at Taher part-time

    Pros

Providing good food to students is a great feeling.

    Cons

No room for advancement at Taher.

    Pros

Great team spirit with coworkers and serving the students can be a lot of fun. The job is good for those that like to keep busy. No sitting around here!

    Cons

Not enough time invested in proper training and no instructions are written down. Management tends to give more work to those that are capable and dependable but without additional compensation. No full time work available and no advancement opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Have concise instructions printed for new employees and provide more training time. Hire more subs so that permanent employees aren't moved from their job to fill in for someone last minute at another location.

I have been working at Taher full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The position was enjoyable and fun to interact with students and staff.

    Cons

I was given absolutely no training, but handed a set of keys to all the schools in the district and was told to start. The corporate office complained about what and how I was handling the schools but never once gave me any guidelines to the procedures that work for the company. Would not return calls or emails and then get upset over decisions that were made.

    Advice to Management

Train your staff and answer your phones/email.

I have been working at Taher full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I have worked for this company for more than 7 years. It hasn't always been easy but management has always been wonderful. It is a fun working environment and I am able to take time off when my children are off from school as I have the same schedule as they do.

    Cons

This job is not always easy and there are bad days, however there are more good days than bad days, In a job that is all I can ask for.

    Advice to Management

Management has done a nice job of listening to my concerns and suggestions. At this point I do not have any advice for management.

I have been working at Taher part-time

    Pros

The company is great. I love the variety kids get for their lunch. There are tons of nutritional choices and they love them! Food is fresh and it has the best quality. I was surprised at how much school lunches has changed since I have been in school!

    Cons

The only problem I had with this company was the amount of disrespect and horrible treatment received by co-workers. It's unbelievable how rude the overall staff is. I was yelled at and treated very poorly. I even cried on more than one occasion because of how horrible I was treated. And I am not a cryer!! I just put in my two weeks because I cannot take it anymore. It's really sad because I saw great potential for myself with this company. Out of about 25 girls I have worked with, at least 20 of them were rude.

    Advice to Management

Watch your employees. People keep quitting after working there for less than two months and there is a definite reason for that. The bullying has got to stop. Also make sure girls wear gloves while serving. Ew!

I worked at Taher (More than a year)

    Pros

    quality of food is good.

    Cons

Upper management doesn't listen to what the lower lever employees say. A lot of work place harassment due to head quarters being out of state.

    I worked at Taher full-time

    Pros

None. Any pros are devalued based on all the cons.

    Cons

Unprofessional Management, plenty of bickering among managers and talking about each other negatively to other staff.
    Low Pay
Unorganized and outdated information sharing and technology.
    Dishonest managers.
Little to no job security, I was hired for a new account and promised growth, then fired less than a year later due to "budget cuts".
    Very Shady people
