I have been working at Takeda Pharmaceuticals full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Patient focused Mobile phone line reimbursement

    Cons

Highly siloed Highly political Highly unproductive and non collaborative Highly and unreasonably sensitive to open minded opinions Lack of tolerance to unique personalities. Everyone is expected to behave the same way under current HR policies and practices New ideas are not welcome..as the company shuns away young talent in exchange for more experienced individuals with caged mind sets at better paying positions and salaries Managers and colleagues constantly judge you and will escalate without first clearing the air with you in person so can’t trust anyone HR is feared for everything HR If you escalate to HR prepare to have yourself considered equally guilty of reporting and everyone from your manager to anyone at point for you as resource is sucked in to the reporting process..no anonymity exists Job function related feedback: Project and program management don’t exist in their pure essence. You will be a coordinator and facilitator at most. Possibly give few PM like responsibility but mostly you will find everything is AdHoc and ancient in their methods.

I worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Worked with talented individuals, opportunities to work on lots of different projects

    Cons

Lots of reorganizations because of mergers and acquisitions. Par for the course in pharma, but definitely brings a host of challenges from increased headcount and overlapping functional areas

I have been working at Takeda Pharmaceuticals full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Collaborative work place with nice people and an opportunity to learn a lot of new skills either for current position or next role.

    Cons

Work load is crazy and often leads to burn out. There are so many changes to keep up with, including personnel. And this only contributes to an even heavier work loads.

I worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals for more than 5 years

    Pros

    1. Many wonderful colleagues, bright, kind, engaging people to work with 2. Great Deerfield campus location 3. 1/2 day Fridays 4. Great Cafe run by Guggenheim - many healthy choices with professional chefs 5. Organic Garden on-site supplying the lunch cafe

    Cons

    1. Under a current RIF disguised as a 'transformation' 2. Not paying their vendor invoices - calls and emails from vendors who are going past 100 days waiting for payment 3. Layoffs began in January of 2016 and will continue through 2018 4. RIF/downsizing due to financial woes/mismanagement and many lawsuit settlements - but disguised as transformation 5. NOT everyone is being given severance packages 6. Company committed to working diligently to help displaced workers find other opportunities within the organization - I have personally heard from many that this is not true. 7. The majority of non-sales colleagues who are are being displaced are females over age of 50 - so much for diversity 8. No one is safe - per the CMSO Officer - quote "this is a volatile industry - if you want safety/security work somewhere else"
