    Pros

Takeda as a Japanese ethos which is very much patient focused. The takedaism values are meaningful and can relate too. Great place to work for & company benefits are really good!

Decisions take too long to make. Moving from a japenese company to a USA one, focused in Boston..sad times ahead!

    Advice to Management

Not just to focus just on Boston!!

I have been working at Takeda Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Some key issues have been recognised

    Cons

Strategic plans to implement will not achieve what senior management desire as there is no coordination, and all strategic positions are moving to the US (a model used before which was a car crash). Nothing innovative!

    Advice to Management

Stop thinking that by reverting back to a US centric model that this will save the company. Talent is worldwide, use it!

    Pros

Salary and benefits good. Flexibility in terms of home-working. Great central location. In general, staff easy going and HR very approachable

    Cons

Not enough professional development though this will depend on one's manager. Too much centralised control in Boston office. Lack of transparency. Top heavy company.

    Advice to Management

Recognise your N-1 talents and abilities. Personal development plans are written to be read! Be more transparent about what is happening in company. Have regular meetings to inform group of what is happening within and between functions. Improve communication!
