    Pros

The training program is excellent! The managers really do care about their employees.

    Cons

I applied for a part time position and ended up working 50 hour weeks. It was in a dangerous area and I always worried about my safety

I have been working at Talecris full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Always entertaining. Room for growth in to corporate positions if you have the ability to prove yourself to certain people and py your dues. Good luck getting there.

    Cons

Low pay, no work life balance.

    Advice to Management

Upper management should act more as leaders and not bosses. The pressure from upper management is a burden and not uplifting. You feel beat down rather than built up. Its difficult to grow if you're always being held down.

I worked at Talecris full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The employees I met were hard working and conscientious.

    Cons

The hours are terrible; very limited potential for growth, pay is at the low end of the national average.

    Advice to Management

Customers re tired of waiting so long to be taken care of; there is a constant lack of supplies and equipment and workers are getting burnt out because of lack of manpower.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    experience, and flexibility with schedule

    Cons

center staff is viewed as bottom dollar, work them harder and harder is the motto. was there 2.5 years and couldn't get cross trained because the center was always understaffed and trying to get as many donors though in as little amount of time that they could.

    Advice to Management

you center staff work darn hard and you need to recognize their efforts, stop looking at bottom dollars costs and give them opportunities
