I have been working at Talkspace part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I live being able to stay home and not stop helping people clinically. I did not know this was even possible and I am so glad I saw an ad on FB for talkspace and decided to check it out. I have enjoyed that there is a team to work with, you can be involved as you want to or just hang out and work with clients and watch the other counselors from the sidelines. There are people to reach out to when you need help and there is clinical help when you need it. That is a big deal!! And when you reach out for help, someone is there to help that day.

    Cons

Interview was long and tedious, it felt over the top but after being through it I can now see the point of it all. It really does open your eyes to using a new medium to do something you area already comfortable with. It is hard to go back to be managed in that way but now that I am on the other side, I think it makes a lot of sense.

I have been working at Talkspace part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Convenient, flexible, professional, remunerative, and successful. I can make my own hours and accommodate clients who have heavy work schedules.

    Cons

Therapy proceeds a little slower without face-to-face appointments, but 5 days/week of on-line contact produces about the same as one hour/week of face-to-face.

    Advice to Management

As the company continues to grow, I hope you will keep the company tight enough for us to maintain on-line relationships with management staff. Right now we communicate easily and know the names of the staff; I hope it will stay this way.
