    Pros

Build your schedule, flexibility. Work with a lot of different people.

    Cons

Communication is horrible. I quit months ago and they still send me emails and call asking me to work. This is contract work so you get paid a flat rate even if you end up working more hours. The higher paying jobs are going away leaving certain locations without trainers/supervisors and the quality of work reflects it.

    Advice to Management

    Care

I have been working at Tallgrass Talent Group part-time

    Pros

It is work however sparse or unorganized it is. I do not know any pros.

    Cons

I have had 4 coordinators in 3 months. Not one knows what they are doing. I am told to be on conference calls for work that is in another state. I go to the store to do the demos, the product is not there. Prior company sent emails with invitations to do the work. This was weekly on a consistent basis. The new company sporadically sends emails for work. I now work 2 days per month versus 8 days per month.

    Advice to Management

Get your act together. Hire people that know what they are doing.
    Return emails.

I have been working at Tallgrass Talent Group part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I wish Tallgrass Talent hadn't been bought out! The new company is horrible to deal with! With Tallgrass you got emailed opportunities which was nice unlike the new company!

    Cons

I haven't worked a single day since the transition. Now you have to physically go into the computer and update a calendar with your schedule EVERY single day or they will schedule you whether you want to be or not. I don't even know who really owns Tallgrass now because sometimes I get emails from different companies.

    Advice to Management

To the new owner: Go to a system where you email all the talent in that area with a list of jobs and everyone that wants it "applies". The first to apply get it. Simple. I don't have the time to go into a computer constantly & update you on what my schedule is. Working for you looks like it would be a real pain!

I have been working at Tallgrass Talent Group part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Tallgrass Talent Group has some experienced and professional coordinators working for them. If you need help or assistance, they are always willing to supply your need or provide assistance in your concern.

    Cons

Tallgrass Talent Group really has no downfalls. The only downfalls are when retail outlets do not do their jobs correctly and provide supplies needed to perform a store demo.

    Advice to Management

Tallgrass Talent Group Corporation bought Sunflower Group. They should remain like this, as I got word that "Advantage Sales & Marketing" was going to buy them. I have also worked for Advantage Sales & Marketing, who has a bad reputation and their upper management do not know how to treat people. I do know of one lawsuit. So, please take my suggestion and keep Tallgrass Talent Group a full corporation operating on its own.

I have been working at Tallgrass Talent Group part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Schedule is flexible with a fun opportunity to interact with customer in the store and learn about/try new products.

    Cons

Hours are not guaranteed as many shifts occur on a first come, first serve basis. Must pay/complete an online food handlers course out of pocket.

    Advice to Management

Assign employees real schedules to help them guarantee a set amount of hours so that we know how much to expect to make each week.
