    I have been working at Tangoe full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    We were all requested to work from home as soon as the pandemic started in March and will remain at home until at least September, we have been setup with all the equipment needed including Monitors, laptops, headphones, Desks, Chairs (whatever we needed) allowing us to complete our jobs successfully from home, it was obvious the employee’s safety was paramount to the company. We have been provided with regular updates on the company’s performance via town-hall meetings and have a Social drop in hour once a week allowing some non-work interaction with fellow colleagues that you would not normally talk to, this has been a great success. Apart from the occasional VPN issue working from home has been no different from being in the office other than the daily social aspect.

    Cons

    A lot of the updates are US focused, as this is where most of the offices and management are located, it would be good to hear from colleagues in the EMEA section.

    Pros

    The company has made several changes that position it for growth, exemplary leadership with a vision for the future. During the recent Covid19 crisis Tangoe was one of the first companies that sent employees home early on.

    Cons

    There are some growing pains with some old Tangoe.

    I have been working at Tangoe full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    I've had the experience of having great managers that I have been able to learn a lot from. They have pushed me appropriately and provide professional guidance that I hadn't had in other jobs. I have been able to change rolls and advance at a satisfactory rate, with encouragement from my organization. New management is attempting to automate and take the many moving parts currently existing at Tangoe to help streamline and simplify the business. Finally, the people are what has made Tangoe most compelling for me. There have been some highs and lows along the way, but strong bonds see us through.

    Cons

    Tangoe is currently owned by a private equity firm, which has its own challenges, changes, and capitalistic tendencies. I just hope the search for value on paper doesn't strain relationships.

    Pros

    I've grown with Tangoe for the past 5 years and loved it every step of the way. There is nothing like working for a company who truly values your expertise. The culture at Tangoe is something I am so proud to be a part of. I have a voice and I am never scared to use it because our company values all employees opinions. Our management team is so supportive and flexible, family life is easy when you work at Tangoe, There is nothing more important to Tangoe than the health and wellness of their team and their families.

    Pros

    Tangoe is both thoughtful and purposeful in growing the company for the betterment of their employees (aka Roos). In particular, Tangoe's process during the current global crisis: They care about their employees; ensuring the health and safety of the Roos and their families come First. The work/life balance, culture and progressive thinking is refreshing! Putting employees First that is what makes a successful business. We are not just a number. Transparency 'First' gives accessibility to upper management to voice any grievance, suggestion and/or potential opportunity without repercussion. I do love working here!

    None that I can think of... maybe the pay cut but we have a job is how I look at it..

    I have been working at Tangoe full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Freedom to work remote, even after the pandemic restrictions are lifted. Some managers are great at avoiding micromanagement and letting you do your work on your own time. Amongst the general employee base coworkers are friendly and willing to help. Not always the case with upper management but that’s usually how it is most places.

    Cons

    There are quite a few. After Tangoe acquired MOBI promises were made that culture would be the #1 priority and that has not been the case. 401k benefits were slashed (by nearly half) well before the Covid-19 crisis. After Covid-19 an indefinite 10% salary reduction was implemented with no assurances that the 10% would ever be returned. Salaries were already very low to begin with. Talent drain has been extreme and with a hiring freeze in place that has been a challenge. It boils down to the short term bottom line being prioritized over the long term health of the organization and its employees. Promotions and career next steps are promised and not delivered. This is clearly and quickly becoming a company that doesn’t provide career growth opportunities. Current employees looking for a new challenge with an appropriate salary increase will need to look outside Tangoe.

    10% pay cut that will be "reevaluated" in December 2020 Terminations every 6 months Executives that think the answer to everything is go cheap and offshore Systemic misogyny and sexual harassment claims going back years False promises to customers of 1 consolidated platform and better tools and applications that never appear years later Customers terminating left and right but management focuses on how fast or how many tickets were completed on time instead of the real problems and real work that needs to be analyzed
