Your hard work and smartness to solutions pays off and it helps you in the career growth.
You get opportunities to switch to your domains as well internally.

    Cons

    The Real Time Metrics tool

I worked at Tangoe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They organize a rotation of food trucks twice a week, so some of the best food comes directly to you.

    Cons

You will have more bosses than you can count. Only one boss will know the details of the work you do, if you are lucky. There will be practically zero training. You will hear from no one, unless something has gone wrong. but don't worry, things go wrong constantly. You may be blamed for the thing that went wrong. You will have nothing to do with the thing that went wrong.

    Advice to Management

Please learn the details of the work of your employees! and if you can't do that, do not offer to help. It will ring disingenuous every time, and your employees will resent you.

    I worked at Tangoe full-time

    Pros

I honestly couldn't think of a single pro. That's the reason why I decided to leave this sinking ship.

    Cons

You'd waste your life away working here if you have a Bachelor's or above. Tangoe doesn't value degrees. They regularily hire people with nothing more than GEDs, High Scool diplomas and college dropouts. The sad thing is that employees with no degrees received equal or greater pay than those who were bright and disiplined enough to obtain a degree.

    Advice to Management

Your HR team should be focusing on trying to improve your employee morale. Wasting time and energy by writing false glowing reviews on this site accomplishes nothing. The false positive reviews are easy to spot.

I worked at Tangoe full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free Tea/Milk/Coffee. Team outing will be very fun.

    Cons

There are lot. Hard to explain.
Think before joining here. No growth for career and lot of partiality. No respect for employees. Leads and managers are not aware of testing process and they simply blame team members. Management is very worst specially testing team (Few leads and managers in Testing)

    Advice to Management

waste to advice because they are not ready to take it.

I have been working at Tangoe full-time

    Pros

Not many, some nice people working hard to delivery a service on platforms which are not fit for purpose.

    Cons

Too many platforms, new single platform been in development for years with no real sign of roll out. Customers not happy with Tangoe's delivery vs the promises they received at point of sale. Staff generally not happy and leaving.

    Advice to Management

Sort out the platform and take care of the good people you have left.

I worked at Tangoe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great co-workers, first line manager, and some interesting customer projects.

    Cons

Inept middle management, lots of people in Tangoe with inflated job titles that had no outside Tangoe experience and clearly didn't have depth of skills. lack of clear direction on projects and leadership meant projects I worked on consistently missed deadlines. No clear path for career advancement. While I was there, I never had a formal review. Pay raises were non existent during my tenure. Most of my co-workers left rather then trying to fight the Tangoe establishment of "That's the way we do it here" culture.

    Advice to Management

Tangoe has now been taken private and all the executive leadership has changed. Hopefully the new owners at Marlin will continue cleaning house and get rid of bad middle management and look outside of Tangoe for new leadership. Listen to some of your acquired merger talent, you have folks sidelined who are more skilled then long term Tangoe employees who were there from the start. Tangoe can be a success but you have to overhaul the culture first.

I worked at Tangoe full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

None, nada, nothing, zilch, goose egg

    Cons

Management is completely out of touch with reality. Post retirement CFO. Zero respect for employees. Delisted for inability to file financial statements. Dismal work environment where employees are treated like children of divorce and kept completely in the dark. Shady accounting practices. Non-functional products knowingly sold to their customers.

    Advice to Management

Go home, and let anyone else run this company!

I worked at Tangoe full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Management genuinely cares about their teams.
Management gives clear expectations of your production and position.
Open door policy that they actually welcome for use.
Internal Education to develop skills to attain career goals.
More consistent with fulfilling their employee promises.
    Vacation and PTO policies.

    Cons

    Fear and bitter Environment
Harsh Corporate Politics (almost like it's sport and a recent development)
    Crabs in a barrel behavior
    No work/life balance

    Advice to Management

There needs to be more accountability. You also need to stop the change, calm, change, calm, shock, change, calm. This is unnecessary for a company's restructure. Burning out your employees just sends the message that you don't really want to keep them long term. This is perpetuating the toxic environment.
