    I worked at Tapps Games for more than 2 years

    Pros

    The company is very friendly and welcoming, it has a strong team culture (the personnel overall is great) and provides lots of interesting perks (travel, training, courses, mugs, etc.). On top of that, it has a nice Insurance Health Plan and follows properly all the law obligations (which it's rare for game companies in Brazil, unfortunately).

    Cons

    The company has grown too fast and it is still struggling with proper job definitions and responsibilities (career progression plan). So, for someone's first job, it is great - many opportunities to learn in a stable environment. However, there are not as many opportunities to grow when you are more experienced - it ends up being hard to continue there after a while. In addition, the salaries are not so competitive (or...

    Advice to Management

    I would focus on defining a good work structure, with well defined job roles (obligations and scope) on top of having career tracks that are interesting and provide variety to the work personnel. Listen to what they are saying ;)

    I worked at Tapps Games for more than 2 years

    Pros

    Tapps is one of the largest Brazilian Gaming Companies, achieving great results in an yearly basis and growing fast. It is a great place to build a long carrer with many examples within the employees that started when it was small and became great leaders within years.

    Cons

    As any company growing too fast and being in a country with very low availability of talents, Tapps has been struggling with the seniority of the team, which impairs its growing capacity and should be a greater focus for all the management.

    Advice to Management

    A greater focus on HR initiatives is important to attack the most complicated issues.

    I have been working at Tapps Games full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

    The people are the best and most important part of the company - everyone is very open to communication and the exchange of ideas.

    Cons

    Extremely slow to adopt any changes to the technology stack, outdated methodologies make agile seem like waterfall, with quirks to hierarchy resulting in confusion and a focus that is exclusively on making money, not on producing value. They tend to only listen to external input, often ignoring problems that have already been raised by employees.

    Advice to Management

    Pay attention to your employees, listen to what they are telling you. Focus once more on creating fun and value for people, treat your customers with care and respect.

    I have been working at Tapps Games full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

    Tapps only hires very nice people, so everybody gets along beautifully. The upper management is very much concerned for the well-being and professional development of the staff. Employees are very well taken care of, so they can focus on making great games.

    Cons

    The team is very young. Although we do have some seniors, the majority of the staff is somewhat inexperienced, so there's a lot of training going on.

    Ótimas pessoas, ambiente de trabalho limpo e organizado, empresa perto do metrô.

    Planejamento e organização de alguns jogos deixam a desejar em eficiência.
