    Advice to Management

Make an effort to promote from within more. Encourage polite dissent rather than quiet obedience.

I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great group of people to work with

    Cons

Needed more cashiers so I was scheduled every minute that I was available but I was also trying to go to college full time.

    Advice to Management

Possibly raise hourly pay. Then maybe turnover wouldn't be so bad.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly atmosphere, "management" doesn't tout their titles - they wear the exact same thing as everyone else and even pitches in to work the "lowly" jobs when needed, pay is higher than minimum wage, great place to shop too!

    Cons

I have no cons - this is my second time working at Target because I had such a positive experience the first time!

    Advice to Management

Maybe add comfort mats at the front lanes to help alleviate foot pain for cashiers...

I have been working at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The employees are nice but not much to say about it it's alright I guess and the discount is alright to but you can only use it with a redcards cash or gift card

    Cons

Way to unnoticeable the LODs don't do anything to fix a complaint and pushes redcards way to much if we don't say anything about a redcards to a guest we get in trouble

    Advice to Management

    Stop with the stupid redcards!

I worked at Target (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work was fun and unique when I was able to focus on Assets Protection. Fun working with team members.

    Cons

The whole company is focused on what needs to be improved and it never focuses on recognizing the good. Work load is very heavy when considering the pay. If you are an ETL of AP than be ready to work on everything except the area you manage.

    Advice to Management

Focus on recognition more. It's great you want to improve, but if all you do is focus on the negative it really kills moral.
