Flexibility and pay was excellent. No drive thru, so many benefits.

There are not many stores available as with other retailers. But once hired, you see why many do not leave.

Keep up the good work, even after sold to CVS.

    Pros

Discounts , my team members are always kind and helpful. Sorry that's all I have other than helping customers get what they want and need.

Losing hours and benefits management doesn't tell us when we have a deadline to do something on our benefits. Lack of communication

    Advice to Management

Communicate about what is really going on for our future at Target

I worked at Target full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Paid well after 15 yrs and Good Benefits. My experience as a Manager has left me well diversified and trained for retail management elsewhere. No two shifts were ever the same job!

    Cons

Ever increasing workload; never enough payroll to live up to unreasonable expectations; too many chiefs at Corporate with no instore experience; the salaried Mngmnt often forgets Target is in business to sell stuff, not to focus solely on their personal development.

    Advice to Management

Thin out all the Corporate managers and all of the developmental paperwork, meetings and statuses ... funnel those resources back to the stores where you have team members who actually want to work retail. Take advice on how to run the company from your hourly managers who somehow get the job done.
