Nothing happens to the people who calls/ no call no show. Instead the hard workers gets punished for not moving fast enough.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of hours, fun environment, usually can get requested time off without trouble

    Cons

I’m being paid the same as everyone in the front end I supervise because I’m not a “Team Lead”, hard work by team members isn’t really appreciated and rewarded just taken advantage of.

I worked at Target full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No dealing with customers, and you get paid a bit more due to the overnight work.

    Cons

Longer hours than scheduled most of the time, and if depending on management this can be a really fast paced job, or a really slow and arduous one.

I worked at Target full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people are amazing. I was an excutive manager and my peers as well as the team members were really amazing. It was nice because I was actually able to build relationships with them. The flexible schedule was nice because I always had 1 day of during the week to run errands or schedule appointments.

    Cons

Retail is retail. Yes, the pay is good as an excutive but you have to realize that you will work weekends and holidays and nights. You will put in 10 hour days and when payroll is tight, you will be right there with the team pushing product to the floor. If your expecting an office job, this isn't it. Another con is that the company has been focusing a lot of hiring externally. Once you reach the excutive level, they don't really focus on developing you any further.

    Advice to Management

Focus on developing your excutive managment team. You put them in that position for a reason.
