    Pros

    .Flexible hours
.You will move up the company as long as you stay their. Many became zone captain after 6 months or so

    Cons

.Team Leads and managers don't treat workers fairly
.Leads are too young and given too much power leading to issues of power misuse

    Cons

Minimum wage pay only which isn't enough to survive in America
At times can feel just like a faceless corporation

I worked at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Phenomenal resources to help you do your job were available to me starting with a six week on-boarding/training. There was a great discount and offers available to employees. Target has a unique culture which I found refreshing after 11 year of active duty military service.

    Cons

There was no time to use the resources available to you to accomplish your job. The constant turnover was detrimental to accomplishing anything whatsoever. The HR Executive Team Leader was one of the most judgmental and unpleasant people I have ever had the misfortune to be on a leadership team with. The first store manager played favorites and was a do more with less leader. She was fired but by that time I was fed up with the organization.

    Advice to Management

Hire quality people and pay them! Also, don't expect miracles in 4th quarter in retail....that only happens in the movies. Accurately represent the job....don't call something an Executive position when part of that person's job is to throw away trash every night.

I have been working at Target full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice salary right out of college, I have just been promoted simply because I have a degree. I didn't have to slave away in the cellar for three years just to get a promotion.

    Cons

I have been promoted and am in-charge of people twice my age and with decades of experience more then myself. They lose because they don't have a degree, sounds really dumb to me.

    Advice to Management

Allow those with at least five years experience to be ETLs, in place of a college degree. They will do a lot better then at least eight of the fourteen members of my business college graduating class, they shouldn't be anywhere near a leadership position.

I have been working at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -paid breaks
    -diverse staff
    - nice break room
-there is often free food/ special events in the break room (like movie night, free ice cream, etc)

    Cons

-uniform (I go through a lot of khakis and red shirts)
-I often have to do things besides what backroom team members do, such as stocking the store, even Team Leaders and ETL"s have to do this! it is lowly in my opinion)
-I'm very good at this job, but I feel working at target and retail in general is a lowly field

    Advice to Management

Why would you cut the hours of someone make < $9? How about you take a pay cut....
