    Pros

Opportunity for growth is high, work hard and you will be recognized, work slow and sluggish, and you will also be recognized.

    Cons

No hours, vs. workload, we need to take another look. AP needs more direct authority to handle situations where there is theft

I have been working at Target part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The hours are flexible, if you have school, they will work around it.
Some of the managers are okay.
You get time and a half on certain holidays.

    Cons

Hours go way down during the beginning of the year, about 10-12 hours a week! Also, most managers pick favorites, and promote from there.

    Advice to Management

Target is beginning to be way to guest focused to where the employees don’t matter anymore, used to be a great company, now it’s all politics.

I worked at Target (Less than a year)

    Pros

    My Co-workers weren't that bad

    Cons

Worst job of my life!!!!!!! Worked there for 10 looooooooong months
You had like 7 different managers that expected different things and acted so sweet in the beginning and turned into evil monsters got yelled at for things I didn't even do one manager claimed she saw me hang pants the wrong way and yelled at me in front of customers! You close really late also which is a drag and if you work in the clothes department you get the least amount of hours and are usually under staffed I had like 4 hour shifts it was the absolute worst company I've ever worked for I honestly get nightmares sometimes! I was treated with no respect so often it's also hard to get time off u have to request it two weeks in advance and the manager in charge of it was one of the meanest ones and wouldn't even give me my birthday off they also don't really like u switching shifts and u have to request that as well and even that can get denied the pay also sucks little teeny pay for all you do and deal with it was just the most miserable place with rude managers and customers i honestly used to love to shop at target before I worked there and now I rarely even go in save yourself work anywhere else!!!!

    Advice to Management

Hire all new L.O.D's or give them a lot more training

I worked at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Awesome team (most of the time)

    Cons

Management wants you to be a robot. All they care about is you getting people to sign up for REDcard. No room to grow unless you kiss up. No work

    Advice to Management

Pay attention when you have a good employee.

    Pros

There was always bread and peanut butter in the lunch room.

    Cons

Unstable Hours. It really depends on the store you work at, but it was really rare for a full work day and there were many times where you were sent home early because you finished your work early. On average your scheduled for 4.75 hours a day but most days u work from 3 to 4 hours a day.. Your are constantly monitored and pushed to work as fast as you can with no benefits for your hard work.
