I worked at Target (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The job is easy, mindless work. The majority of jobs are good for those that like to be on the move. .

    Cons

Unless you are hired in as an executive or some supervisory position, your wage, even if you got full time hours, is still below the poverty level. "Raises" are insulting, a few cents. Plus, they constantly contradict the "policies" they brag about.

    Advice to Management

"Say what you mean and mean what you say". Similar companies don't brag about what they do. So, anything they do do is a pleasant surprise. I suggest saying nothing if you have no intention of following through.

I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Hard work and you meet some nice people in the process. I gained a good friend from there.

    Cons

The management is ridiculous. They act like kids. They say one thing and then do another. I was fired because I was overworked

    Advice to Management

Grow up and realize that some people need help.
