I worked at Target full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good management team and fellow employees.

    Cons

Uncertainty about how many hours I would get each week. i would be scheduled for 20 hours and get 40. I needed 40 each week and it was very nerve wracking thinking I might only get 20 hours.

I worked at Target part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Did not have to deal with the public or be out on the floor to terribly often. Most of the upper management seemed to care about employees.

    Cons

The hours and shifts sometimes sucked.

I worked at Target part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The target "guests" were always nice.

    Cons

The pay is abysmal. I only made $8 an hour, and the last week I was there I was scheduled to work less than 9 hours. The managers are also constantly on your case about getting RedCards. One of my supervisors got smart with me for being 10 minutes late for my lunch, but then made me stay 30 minutes over my shift that same day. I have never in my life had such an annoying job, and this is from somebody who once worked at Wal-Mart. Target got on my nerves more in 6 weeks than Wal-Mart did in 3 years. Unless you only need to make a little extra money and suffer from low self esteem, then Target isn't the place for you,
