I have been working at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Not a super challenging job to have, it's really easy to get the hang of everything. Good team, and management. Hours are also good.

    Cons

Can get boring when sales are down. Always having to keep up with RED Card applications sucks. One of the executive managers wants hourly text updates on how many applications we've gotten.

    Advice to Management

    The management is solid.

I worked at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Teamwork, open communication, and a sense of pride. I was always able to open speak with my manager about any issue and ask any question I needed clarification on at any time.

    Cons

There were not too many con but I would say a rolling shift schedule and the long hours during the holiday season, also put a focus on keeping employee areas clean.

    Advice to Management

Management focuses exclusively on the customer experience while forgetting the employees. Even as a part time employee there needs to be more communication in terms of scheduling and how to achieve specific goals as I saw this was a problem with different departments and not so much my own.
