    Pros

Work with friendly and helpful coworkers

    Cons

ETL's will only be friendly and nice when they need you to do something or when upper management is visiting.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees with respect at all times, not just when upper management visits the store.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working as a Target Protection Specialist they have flexible work schedule and work around my class schedule (currently in college). There is the possibly of moving up in the company and becoming a team lead. And there it is a good way to learn how to watch people's body language.

    Cons

There is a very high turn over rate and the work environment is always changing. Depending on who is above you it can be a very stressful work environment and makes the job not with it, but with good management above you it is a fun and easy way to make money.

    Pros

The benefits , meeting new people, replace uniform if damaged at work, feed us on breaks sometimes

    Cons

No hours, at least 3 redcards a week, go on late breaks, bathroom are filthy, guess think you are suppose to help them on breaks and when you're off the clock and ready to go home

    Advice to Management

To be more real and caring towards your workers. Treat your employees just like guess when we theyre shopping. Give more hours and set days.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You learn about inventory and working with people. I have made some good friends while working there as well.

    Cons

Management is pretty good but they can get in the way of your responsibilities from time to time. Expect to have lazy co-workers as well.

    Advice to Management

Stop micro-managing your employees. We know our responsibilities, you do not have to tell us to do something we have done 5 times a week for over a year.

I worked at Target full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, nice coworkers, and depending on your immediate supervisor compassionate about work life balance.

    Cons

During eight years with the company, and leadership knowing that you would like to promote, if you are not fresh out of college, you are not wanted in upper-level management.

    Advice to Management

Fairness to employees of all ages.

    Pros

Most of employees are nice. 15% discount and little snacks are cool.

    Cons

Hours irrigular and no warning of change. Negitive immature management. Little pay for stress level and lifestyle inturruptions. Fix coke machine in staff room.

    Advice to Management

Be more organized and learn some maturity. Don't stand around talking about games and childish things then yell that people aren't productive enough.

    Pros

The company is accepting of everybody, the pay is decent and the staff is really nice and understanding. The job itself is pretty easy and doesn't take long to learn the ropes.

    Cons

Downsides to working at Target and maybe other retail jobs is the significance in hour drops when exiting the holiday season.

I worked at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Company always tries to make sure all store leaders are maintaining a good vibe with all employees. upper management makes trips often to make sure stores are complying with changes and employee training.

    Cons

Not allowed to move up until 18 months in same position. Stores not properly staffed. some management when told you are looking to continue to grow will not let you do so because they feel threatened or because they are playing favorites.

    Advice to Management

Do not hold employees that want to move up back. Not everyone has the same professional maturity and growth rate than others and because of that the ones that are ready to move up within a year are held back.

    Pros

    Cons

    Advice to Management
